My love for music is where my DJ career started. Before turning 21, I spent my free time at the leading country dance club in Reno. It was there that I learned most of the line and couples dances as well as how to call them and count them off. I rarely missed a lesson and after turning 21 was offered the position as their main DJ. I soon began teaching the country dances (as well as DJing) and held this position for 2 years (until the venue closed). Due to my versatility as well as emceeing abilities I was able to secure several residencies at various times around the Reno/Sparks area. In the past I could be found as the resident DJ at the Country nights at the Grand Sierra Resort Some of the others include: Gilley’s at the Nugget, The Vinyl Club at Hard Rock Lake Tahoe, the Gong Show Karaoke at Rum Bullions Island Bar, the side stage at the Best In The West Nugget Rib Cook off and at the Coors Tent at the Reno Rodeo. Throughout my career i have built and maintained a large dedicated following that loves to show up where i am performing. Keeping a great working relationship with our local country dancers has keep my performances full and profitable every weekend without fail for several years. I always enjoy inviting and seeing my following at whatever venue I may be playing. I feel my experience in all these areas affords me the ability to remain versatile, play to the crowd and keep the dance floor filled while generating great energy throughout the casino.
